Design Theory: The residents of the development were tired of their worn out lap pool and wading pool; they wanted a pool they could plan in, lounge around and hold community functions. The entire facility was razed, raised up fifteen feet and combined into a single body of water that wanders into specific activity zones. In particular, the youth can play while being under the eye of their parents but still separated enough for their parents to relax. The swim team still has use of the pool.
Pool Target: Swim team, adult area, slide, wading and
sprayground to encompass all ages
