Design Theory: Although the pool was functional and appropriate in size, the apartment complex at Brighton Beach was spending a significant amount of money each year to open. The pool was stripped down, the filtration system and decks were replaced, and a new interior finish was installed. Special attention was given to the deck slopes to ensure proper drainage, pleasant lounging, and protection of piping below grade.
