Design Theory: The existing pool at the club abutted the irrigation pond and
was taking in water when emptied. Although many designs were suggested, the members ultimately liked what they had and wanted it replaced in kind with smarter upgrades. The new pool was pulled away from the pond to prevent collapse, the stairs were enlarged, and the lap lanes were set to the proper length. The decks were upgraded to stone pavers which took the pool from a basic rectangle to a very upscale facility.
