University of Delaware Fountain

Design Theory: Located in the middle of the Commons, this fountain was designed to act as a focal point for gatherings or just to sit and ponder about life.

Round Garden at Mt. Cuba

Design Theory: The Maltese cross-shaped swimming pool is the center of this garden, originally designed by Marian Coffin per the owner in 1949, and renovated in 2006. Displays include colorful tulips and delphiniums in spring timed to peak around Mother’s Day, a color-themed mix of annual and perennial flowers throughout the summer, and chrysanthemums in autumn.

Integrated Health Services Entrance Fountain

Design Theory: As this project was a Design Build, there were two important pieces: make a grand entrance and make it easy to service. All the components are in the water and the entrance is alive with movement.
